Does anyone know anything about these 2 judges? Their likes and dislikes? They will be judging the lamb show this next weekend at the Brazos Valley Fair and Expo. Thanks in advance for any tips!

Lots of power. Both are pretty similar I think, and I would say they need to have some look, but the ones standing in the top spot will be plenty thick.

I bet it is going to be crowded in College Station next weekend. I think that it is the same date as the Florida/A&M game! First home game, first conference game, first game in the SEC. I agree with Vance regarding Marty. Don't know as much about Brandon. Do not take a giraffe. They need to have good structure, bone and some look...but make sure that they are plenty thick. Probably prefers a moderate framed, thick made proportional sheep over a great big one. Needs to have good hip structure and good rack shape.

As of yesterday they had around 60 lambs signed up and around 80 goat pens. We're looking forward to it, hopefully it'll have a good turn out. Thanks for the info. Our lambs are still pretty green, since we don't start showing till spring. So we may not have what the judges are looking for yet, although they do have exellent structure, just not the "thickness" yet. My daughter placed 3rd in her class at the last prospect we went to and the only thing the judge could tell her was that he was still green, otherwise looked great. I'm wondering if this is pretty common with lambs that don't show till spring? I guess they could say alot worse. Anyway thanks for the information!
