We don't have a treadmill or track, and either chase the lambs in a big pen or take them out for a roughly half mile walk (which is usually some walking interspersed with jogging if the lambs are inclined). We then turn them lose and they sprint home.

My sister has some big sand hills they are running up and down on and a treadmill to walk backwards 3 times a week lambs are looking great.
