|we also keep first aid stuff for the kids, fly spray, hoof trimmers, pliers, wire, zip ties, asprins for me, hair clips,etc...|

|Short water hose
Plastic coated cable
Roll of baling wire and pliers are a must!
(I wouldn't mess with hauling water. Start mixing Gatorade with water at home a week or two before a show and the flavor will mask anything diffrent from show barn water)

|WATER HOSE ! we get made fun of by steer people for our 5 ft hose but it always stays in the box or we always forget!
we keep hibicleanse or nolvalsan to fight fungus & staph.

|I would suggest doing any hoof trimming at home and not take the hoof trimmers.
Seen too many limping sheep at county shows to let that one pass.

|Corn huskers lotion
Short hose with spray nozzle
Wheelbarrow or other way of hauling bedding/manure

|We are getting to where we have a small bax that holds clippers and assesaries, a 5 gal bucket with wash supplies and a 5 gal bucket with poodle cards, chamies and brushes and a tub with blankets. We still bring the box which works real well as a card table and nap station.|

|Okay, it may not all fit in the box. But it still goes to the show with the lamb. ;)|

|How about feed?! Sorry couldn't help myself since we are making a trailer packing list! Just in time for state fair, I'll have to look over this when I think I'm done. I always have a vet bag-generally has nuflor, vet wrap, nutri drench, syringes, needles, gauze pads, super glue...I never leave for a show without super glue! between my sub par clipping skills and my sheep's need to get hurt, I need it frequently. |

|we got a cord that is on a reel with multiable plugs works great and save space, since by the time the fair rolls around we put every lambs feed in a lunch bag labeled for each kid for each feeding.
Oh we use a shory nozzle that sprays real hard to blast dirt it looks like a small fire nozzle with a shut off.

|Sprkplug-we have an equal number of people and animal fans.
For years I have kept a hard cover engineers notepad with a list of everything I am going to need. This pad is in my overnight bag and occasionally I will add items to the list as things change. This is how "We don't leave home without it". I think I first made this list in 1961 and have kept it current ever since. It is checked before departure.

|Safety pins! Best way to afix show number on back of shirt for small kids -- since harness and clips get in the way. Also great for wardrobe malfunctions, etc.!|

|a sharp knife believe it or not out here a lot of fairs make you go through metal detectors and take your knife away.
It happened to me and I saw the cops throwing away the knives (they probaly got them later) so instead of walking back to the truck in the parking lot a mile away I gave it to the ticket girl. should have gave to my sister they didn't even look at her.

|I am not going to add to the list because it looks like you all have everything covered, but we made a check-list and saved it on the computer since we tend to pack the same stuff for every show. We can just keep reprinting it each time and check off things as we pack them.|
|ChristianCowgirl||Posted 08/14/12 07:25PM Changed 00/00/00 12:00AM|
|We keep a notebook in ours with a running list of items that should be in the box--lots of crossed-out items, new items, newly defined items.
We also use the notebook to jot down notes about the fairs--like "TINY PENS--figure two adults to a pen!" or "no extra space for tack"

|Some smooth wire and wire cutters, just in case. An old RX bottle of safety pins for back numbers and loose tops(If you have girls showing) Zip Ties are a must and I have donated thousands to other show families. Great for feeders, muzzles, blankets, pen signs, and wardrobe malfunctions.|
