I got a Shetland ewe and her twins 5 days ago. Everybody is settling in but I noticed that the little ram won't stop shaking. At first I thought maybe it was stress, from moving and getting banded. But he is still shaking, his mouth feels warm and he runs and plays with his sister.
I need to know what to do or what I should look out for. I have seen him nursing but only a little.

Does he stand hunched up? Shivering and standing hunched up are both signs that he's not getting enough to eat. It could be that the ewe isn't making enough milk for both the lambs. Check her udder for any hard spots.

He does seem a little hunched but not dramatically. I got some milk replacer for him today, but he would only drink 4ozs between two feedings. I am going to try again in a bit. How much should I try to get into him, if he is nursing a little? Thank you :)

It can take them a while to figure out the bottle if they've been on a ewe for a little while. I'd just offer him warm milk replacer 2-3 times a day. He'll figure it out eventually.

Take his temperature. Lambs getting too few calories will be running at temp under 102. How much under is a sign of how serious.

Totally agree with Crystal, just keep offering warm milk replacer.
